We work directly with our clients on all aspects regarding the development and production of the farm. Over the years we have had the opportunity to work with dozens of farmers which has given us invaluable insight into the shortcomings of the industry. Below are just a few areas we consult our clients on.

Frequently SRD contracts with farms that have no management and accountability procedures in place. Poor farming practices, lack of experience in farming management and techniques, and poor utilization of resources are all contributors to an unsuccessful farm.

Compliance is a must and we works closely with our clients to bring their farms into the light. We are currently contracted with multiple clients seeking state licensing for new and existing cultivation. On behalf of our current clients we submit applications for County licensing and interim permits. We believe in responsible farming and environmental compliance and addressing issues is a first. Our team develops environmental risk assessments and management procedures to protect the resources utilized. We work with farms that are currently in the process of receiving licensing as well as fully licensed operations.

The County of Humboldt by way of the Commercial Medical Marijuana Land Use Ordinance (CMMLUO), which was adopted in 2016 incentivizes existing cultivators in environmentally sensitive areas to shut down and relocate their farms to more suitable sites. Our team can facilitate the decommissioning and relocation of the existing site and work with local agencies to remediate and restore the existing cultivation site of any environmental issues.

With our extensive experience in the functionality of medical cannabis cultivation, and an intimate understanding of local and state regulations we provide a comprehensive approach to project management that save our clients’ money. Being on the project from the ground up and implementing our standard operating procedures from day one provides our clients with piece of mind that the job is done right the first time through.
